Forum looking strange

Posted by Susofrick on 16 Jun 2026, 11:11

The forum have looked strange the last days (okay, I haven't used a mirror today so I maybe shouldn't say something), but any way it does look quite different. Is it temporary? Or is Benno doing something to get everything right?

That’s exactly what I’ve been wondering ever since the last time I was able to log into the forum and saw this new look, Gunnar.

:coffee: Hi Gunnar,it appears that half the photographs once upon full view are only showing a small fraction of members pictures now. Mine especially, but i am sure that is partly down to my own fault.
:eh: Eh! What! Did BB,just say that?
 He most certainly did.
:coffee: Sure i did.BB

I’m seeing this strange "new look" when I visit the forum, too. At first, I thought the problem was due to my aging computer. However, it seemed suspicious that both Firefox and Edge were displaying this odd layout. I also noticed that the forum still displays normally on my mobile devices; everything looks just as it should on both my smartphone and tablet.
So, I suspect it’s some kind of glitch. To me, it looks like key parts of the forum’s code are missing - things like stylesheets or whatever. The lack of image scaling to fit the page, in particular, certainly wasn't intended...

BB, I’ve found that if you right-click on the image and select the option ‘Open image in a new tab’, you can view the full image in the new tab. ;-)

I always log in from my laptop, so I always see the new look, Stephan.

My advanced IT skills are practically non-existent, but, judging by how strange the forum looked, I too suspected it was some sort of technical glitch.

Sorry guys, situation is the same for me as well. Let's wait a bit more and see if Benno or Remco can give us an explanation. Thanks.

And yes, it look strange but for me it works faster now than before.

It’s the same for me. And it’s not just that it’s quicker, but you can also access the forum almost every time you try.
