Hi folks, long time no see but i m still alive.
here s my entry for the Figz Competition in 2025.
Got 1st place in diorama.(it was the only one ) i worked on it a couple of years and wasn t glad with the water. i m still not.
The dio shows different scenes of the life of Robinson as i remembered the story from my childhood.

Congratulations, Andreas. As the mates have already said, I think your diorama fully deserved the prize you won at the Figz Competition in 2025.

Having admired it up close, I think I’ve managed to identify the source of the various Robinson figures featured in the diorama: most are from Hät’s ‘British Marines and Sailors’ set, and one is from Orion’s ‘Pirates’ set, some of them featuring clever conversions. Let me know if I'm right:







By the way, it’s been a pleasure to put a face to your name thanks to the photos Gunnar posted from your visit to his home town.

What i am able to view....A worthy winner indeed.

i know of poor Robinson,for i wrote a thesis upon the Novel, many years ago within another third part of my long life. Although i have no Masters Degree.... Just City & Guilds for English Lit.
It was the Library book i hid under my bedroom floor boards as a child when i was nine years old,but that is another true story i placed elsewhere upon this very Forum. It is still there today.BB
